One Great Season

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Pro football fans are talking about the New York Jets' acquisition of wide receiver Braylon Edwards, but college fans also have an interesting development to discuss today.

Kevin Theiss, a 5-10 junior at Concordia College in Bronxville, N.Y., joins the One Great Season team as an intern.

Theiss has been helping with administrative duties like gathering contact information for media outlets in the markets where the OGS tour is planning visits.

And this week, Theiss has been searching for team-specific blogs to which I can pitch my original content.

Theiss, 20, commutes to school from his family's home in Briarcliff Manor. He's majoring in business marketing and new media, and hopes to pick up some skills in Web editing and design.

The avid soccer player interned for our national team at Fox Interactive Media in 2008, and he approached me about helping out with One Great Season when he heard about the project.

Hit him up on Facebook, where his page includes a lame Phillies Phanatics widget. You can also follow him on Twitter @kmtheiss.
