Ohio State may have grabbed the tournament's top overall seed, but I think Kansas is the best team in the country. Texas gave a worthy chase, but the Jayhawks were pretty much in the driver's seat for this top seed the last month of the season.

Complete March Madness Coverage

Unlike last year, when KU gagged in the Round of 32, Bill Self's squad will breeze past the first weekend. A Sweet Sixteen matchup with Louisville likely awaits, and it could be the best game of that round. The Jayhawks advance and beat Notre Dame in the Elite Eight.

Here's what you need to know:

Top Seed: Kansas (32-2, Big 12 regular season and tournament champions)

Best Second-Round Game: No. 5 Vanderbilt vs. No. 12 Richmond

Third-Round Upset Alert: If No. 7 Texas A&M remembers to pack its offense, the Aggies could be trouble for No. 2 Notre Dame. Mark Turgeon's squad always brings the defense and the effort.

Cinderella: No. 12 Richmond

Watch This Guy: No. 12 Richmond forward Justin Harper

How A 16 Seed Can Finally Win A Game: If Boston University can mix its defensive looks effectively and get some points in transition, but limit Kansas' own transition productivity, the Terriers can hang around. Fairly big if.

Projected Winner: Kansas
