One Great Season

BROOKLYN -- I'm not normally a big contest guy, but I thought I'd try my hand at ESPN's Bowl Mania.

First you go through the list of all 34 games this bowl season, picking the straight-up winners. That means no spreads, thank goodness!

Then you rank the games based on the amount of confidence you have in each pick. So in my list below, the game at the very top -- USC over Boston College in the Emerald Bowl -- is the one I have the most confidence in, so if the Trojans do top the Eagles, I'll get 34 points. If you still don't get it, then the game at the bottom of my list -- LSU over Penn State in the Capital One Bowl -- is the one I have the least confidence in, so I'm only risking one point.
