Discussion: NCAA Football or Basketball?
By JOHN P. WISE
One Great Season
NEW YORK -- Going back to when I was about 10 or 11 years old, when I was stealing my sister's typing paper to make three sets of my own NCAA brackets -- who I hoped to win, who I picked to win and the actual winners -- I can remember how much I've always loved March Madness.
But in the last 10 or 12 years, college football has overtaken college basketball as my favorite sport to watch and cover.
Check back on Thursday for my full take on what makes college football so great, but in the meantime, let me hear which you prefer and why. Is there more anxiety leading up to the start of the football season? Or are you a nervous wreck because your fave hoops squad is on the tournament bubble? Click below and drop me a line.
YOUR THOUGHTS: Do you prefer NCAA football or basketball?

The only thing I like about the NCAA basketball tournament is the fun involved with filling out brackets and competing. Of course, you can also see some good games if you are lucky, but overall I am not a huge fan of basketball. If I am watching, I do prefer college over pro.
The start of college football season is great, and I always look forward to following my Buckeyes. It's thrilling to know that each year, OSU is going to compete and have a shot at the championship. How can you beat sitting in the cold stadium with thousands of screaming fans? Pure awesome.
FOOTBALL!!!
March Madness is fun, and I would say that as far as singular events go the NCAA Tournament is probably the most exciting sporting event.
However, the rest of the basketball season is totally awful. You couldn't pay me to sit through a college basketball game in December. So I would really rather it be college football season, than basketball.
FOOTBALL O - H - I - O
this is a joke, right? football, hands down.
