With all due respect to OGS and its contributors, Monkey Wrench in Louisville? No way. An honorable mention, maybe. You will not beat the atmosphere at Molly Malone's for the World Cup.
I actually don't doubt it, but there was nothing about it on the Molly Malone's Web site last week, and when I called, I got a very flat reply from someone there who told me, "Yeah, we'll just be showing the games." Shit, I'll just be showing the games in my living room. She said she didn't expect any promotions, drink specials, early hours, etc. But I got a very spirited reply when I called Monkey Wrench, so at the very least, the customer service will be better down the road than at Molly's.
